I walk in,
A spacious room enters,
My field of vision.
A blur,
Then I'm muffled,
In a stifling embrace.
Relatives,
Come and go,
Greetings a laughter exchanged.
Hot soup,
Freshly steaming,
The delicious fragrance wafting out.
Fish swim quietly,
Inside their confined,
Space.
Blasts and wild yelling,
Escape from the door,
leading to my cousins room.
A game of tanks,
As uninteresting,
As possible.
Soft, tender,
Wontons lay still,
Inviting you to bite.
The first bite-
Succulent juice,
Seeps into your mouth.
A bow -
Then a quick peck,
Then the red envelope,
Is received.
